
Introduction to Coaching at Work
This is an “on-demand” programme which can be delivered in your organisation as either a one day or two half-day workshops
The aims of the programme are to:
- Introduce participants to key characteristics of coaching and the differences between coaching and mentoring
- Explore ways in which coaching can be applied in the work-place
- Introduce participants to one coaching model – the GROW model
- Introduce participants to the listening and questioning skills used in coaching
- Enable participants to identify successful elements of a coaching session
By the end of the programme participants will be able to:
- Explain the characteristics of coaching and  the skills applied in coaching
- Know how to use coaching in their work role
- Understand how to structure a coaching session
- Identify the successful elements of a coaching session

You will receive a certificate from the Insititute of Leadership and Management, which specialises in awarding Coaching, Leadership and Management qualifications. ILM qualifications are highly valued, and last year 90,000 people enhanced their leadership and management skills with an ILM qualification.
The current cost of ILM membership is £115 for one year but you will recieve one year’s free student membership of the Institute of Leadership and Management.

Cost of the course
The Introduction to Coaching at Work programme costs £120 per person for in-house delivery.
If you would like this programme run in-house in your organisation we ask for a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 15 participants.
